About

Located right in the centre of South Shields is Gala Bingo which takes residence in the Denmark Centre. There is much to see and do in the town itself and you will be spoilt for choice of shops, bars and restaurants should you wish to venture out of Gala Bingo.

The club is easy to find and is located off the A183 which is one of the main roads running through the town. It does have a small car park which generally provides enough spaces for everyone and you will find public transport options aplenty if you need them too.

Bus routes 516 and E1 both run directly outside the club when you stop and Anderson Street Library stop and you can also take the green or yellow line on the nearby metro which is a 3-5 minute walk away.

The club has an excellent bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and there is also a diner serving good food all day long. The arcades here are also good and are kept in excellent condition with new games being introduced as and when they are released.

The club has a very friendly atmosphere and all are welcome. Whether you are new to bingo or an old hat you will find the staff very accommodating. There is disabled access and facilities inside the club as well as a hearing loop for those who require one.

There are plenty of promotions and special offers to be enjoyed at Gala South Shields and the £1 Super Sunday is one of the newest deals at the time of writing. The main event is £1 to play and has anticipated prize money totalling over £2,000!

Opening Hours

Gala South Shields is open from 11am to 11pm Monday to Friday with an extra hour on the cards each Saturday with opening hours of 10.30am to 11.30pm. On Sunday the times are 12pm to 11pm with afternoon bingo kicking off at 12.45pm.

Monday to Saturday the bingo action starts on the main stage at 11.30am for the early morning games.

Prices

All bingo sessions are priced at either £4 or £6 at Gala South Shields making it one of the most accessible and value for money bingo halls in the Tyne and Wear region. First chance games are a little higher than other clubs at £3 and last chance games are £1 but that still means at the most you are going to pay £10 for all your bingo in a single session.
