About

One of two Gala Bingo halls in Sheffield, this one is in the Wadsley Bridge area to the north of the city. Located around 3 miles from the city centre you will find this purpose-built venue very easy to find and it is accessible via car and public transport.

Situated on the Kilner Way Retail Park at the far end, it is near to retail outlets such as Dunelm Mill, TK Maxx and Argos. For those who are travelling via car there is a large car park at the front of the club with enough space for over 200 vehicles. Bus number 32 also runs to the retail park with the route being serviced by TM Travel.

The bingo hall is a particularly social one and you will go far to find friendlier staff than these. A review rating of 4.4 stars on Google only tells half the story as the staff here not only look after their customers but they also do an enormous amount of charitable work in the local area.

The club does get busy most weekends and even midweek games can have a good buzz. The atmosphere is party thanks to the good quality games that are played daily and the staff who really know how to crank things up. The facilities here are excellent too with a good bar and dining area to be enjoyed all day every day.

The arcade zone is also very popular and this will keep you busy in between bingo sessions or perhaps if you just fancy a change from the standard bingo. There have been some big winners recently at Gala Sheffield so let’s hope lady luck is with you when you visit.

Promotions

There are numerous promotions running through the week at Gala Sheffield and the Facebook page will keep you up to date with all the latest deals. One such offer at the time of writing is a free coffee and cake every morning (except Sunday) when you turn up to play between 11am and 12pm.

Opening Times

Gala Bingo Sheffield at Wadsley Bridge is open from 11am to 11pm Monday to Friday. Saturday has an opening time of 30 minutes earlier but still closes at 11pm whilst Sunday the times are 12pm to 11pm.

Main stage bingo doesn’t start until 12.25pm with the first chance game with the exception of Saturday when the morning bingo starts as soon as the doors open.

Prices

The prices at Gala Sheffield (Wadsley) are varied throughout the week and whilst it isn’t the cheapest Yorkshire club it does still offer some fantastic value for money. There are main session games available for just £2 (Monday and Wednesday afternoon) with most games costing in the region of £4 to £6. Wednesday and Sunday evenings and Saturday afternoons have the most expensive prices at £11 per session.
