Gala Bingo Clacton is situated on Pier Avenue in the centre of this traditional seaside town. Speaking of tradition, the bingo hall itself is housed inside an old cinema that dates back as far as 1936 – but the internal decor (that stays true to the original Art Deco style) has since had a few refurbishments so you can be assured of a comfortable and stylish surrounding when you visit.

The club itself has all the facilities you would expect at a Gala Bingo club and you find plenty of arcade games, e-bingo, a good quality restaurant, bar and disabled facilities. If you are travelling by car then you find a dedicated car park on-site, but be aware there are only 25 spaces – with the nearest additional car park being on Wellesley Road.

You can arrive by bus or by train with the former getting you closer to the bingo hall if access is difficult. Pier Avenue bus stop is a 30-second walk away and is serviced by bus routes 3, 5, 74, 74A, 74B, 76, 79, 100 and x76. You will find another stop on Anchor Road which is adjacent to Pier Avenue with even more bus routes stopping there.

Opening Times

Gala Bingo Clacton is open 11am-12am Monday to Friday, 10.30am-12am Saturday and 12pm-12am on Sunday.

Session times start from 11.30am daily except for Saturday when the morning session starts at 11 am. Afternoon sessions start at 12.25pm weekdays and 12.45pm at weekends whilst all evening sessions begin at 6.45pm with the main evening event taking place at 7.30pm.

Prices

Gala Clacton has a range of free games on offer which does not provide cash prizes but allow you to play for the fun of it. Paid games start from just £3 for the Wednesday afternoon games with Saturday evening being the most expensive round at £10 per game.

There are regular offers to help reduce the cost of games and there is also electronic packages on offer that provide even more value per game.
