Being open until midnight 7 days a week also makes it a place where people often stay late and this brings a unique atmosphere that is usually very pleasant.

The facilities are excellent and like many purpose-built bingo halls, the venue is light, airy and spacious with comfortable seating and an array of other entertainment on offer in the form of arcades and slot machines.

You will find entertainment on the stage usually at least once a month and you may need to book in advance for such events.

If you are travelling by public transport then the bus is your best option as Chesterfield Railway Station is a little far to walk from. Bus number 90 goes directly to the venue itself.

Mecca Chesterfield has a number of promotions and deals running from time to time and you will find these on the Facebook page which is updated on pretty much a daily basis. At the time of writing, there were free £5,000 link games on offer each Sunday for those who turned up before 5.45pm.

Opening Times

Opening hours at Mecca Chesterfield are 10.30am-12am on Monday, 11am-12am on Tuesday to Friday, 10am-12am on Saturday and 12pm-12am on Sunday.

Session times vary and for the latest times, it is best to check the Mecca website. That being said, there can be as many as 10 sessions daily, with morning sessions starting from 10am on Saturday and the afternoon and evening sessions starting at 12pm and 6 pm daily.

Prices

Prices start from just £1 for the early and late games. These provide excellent value for money as they have huge prizes although the chances of winning are obviously much smaller – perhaps this is when you need to be at a lucky club such as this to help!

The majority of games cost £2 to £16, with the most expensive games costing a whopping £21 on Friday and Sunday evenings. But as you might expect, the prizes are always bigger for these sessions.
