About

Gala Widnes is located right in the town centre as part of Widnes Shopping Park and sits on its own in a purpose-built venue that is just ideal for playing the nations favourite game. The club is easy to get to thanks to its central location in the town and is found on Lugsdale Road which runs parallel with the A557.

There is a large car park at the front of the club so arriving by car is straightforward and you will find buses stopping at The Hive Leisure Park across the main road or on Gerrard Street at the main Widnes Shopping Park bus stop. There are over 15 buses that run here including the 2a, 9, 14, 17, 26 and 61.

The club has excellent facilities and though it may look a little dated from the outside it has been kept in tip-top condition on the inside. The usual Gala blue and yellows hues are seen all around inside and you can expect comfortable seats and plenty of bingo action to keep you there for hours at a time.

The club boasts a good bar area and some excellent food with the locals raving about the good quality nosh at low prices. The arcade machines are excellent inside and there is also a cash machine should you need it.

You are never too far away from something to do in Widnes and if you do get bored of the bingo you can head to the nearby Silver Blades Ice Rink or the less physically exerting Reel Cinemas. There is also a 10 pin bowling alley across the way known as Superbowl UK Widnes.

Should you want food out of the club then you have Nando’s and Frankie & Benny’s within a 2-minute walk too.

Opening Times

The club is open pretty late most days and the weekend has even later opening. Monday to Thursday the opening hours are 10am-11.30pm, Friday to Saturday is 10am-12am and Sunday is 12pm-12am.

With morning bingo being played every day other than Sunday and a brand new free morning bingo to be played (with a jackpot of £300) there is every reason to get down to Gala Widnes nice and early.

Prices

Gala Widnes has some of the best value bingo in the area in terms of prices. With games starting from just £2 (Thursday evening main event) and the top price being just £6 there is plenty to get excited about. First chance games are priced at £2 and last chance are £1 meaning you can play all afternoon or all evening for less than a tenner!
