Gala Bingo Newcastle is on the Eastern outskirts of the city centre and is located between the B1312 and the A193 in a purpose-built complex. The club is very easy to find and is quite sizeable with an onsite car park to match.

For people travelling by other means of transport, there is the Metro and bus service to choose from with the latter stopping slightly closer to the club. Take bus routes 12, 18, 22, 32, 32A, 39 or 40 to Shields Road and take the 60-second walk down Clifford Street to find the venue. Those on the metro line can take the Yellow line to Byker which is a 5-minute walk away.

The club is often busier in the afternoon than in during the evening but you rarely need to book ahead so you should be good to just turn up when you want to play. If you have not yet joined as a member you will need to do so prior to playing and we recommend leaving an extra 20 minutes prior to the first game to ensure you get signed up in time.

There is plenty going on in the area local to Gala Newcastle with some small shops, takeaways and bars in the vicinity. That being said, there is plenty to do at Gala thanks to the array of food and drink offers, arcade zone and the variety of bingo games that are taking place all day long.

Opening Hours

Considering the city centre location you might think the club would be open until at least midnight but it closes its doors a little earlier than that. However, the Gala Bingo Newcastle does open early so there is plenty of time to get your bingo fix.

Prices

The price of bingo is pretty cheap here at Gala Newcastle with prices ranging from £3 to £6 all week long and with many games costing the minimal amount. The only game that is priced outside of that pricing structure takes place on Sunday evenings and costs £11.

First chance games at Gala Newcastle cost £2 and last chance games cost £1.
