About
Dating back to the 1930’s when the Mecca Bingo Ipswich was then an Odeon Cinema you will find remnants of its history throughout the design of this large 1200 capacity bingo hall. You will find it located on Lloyds Avenue on the fringe of the town centre with the hustle and bustle of Ipswich a very short stroll away.
There is no dedicated parking for players but there are numerous car parks nearby with the Tower Ramparts NCP being just around the corner. Public transport links are excellent and it is probably far more cost effective to travel this way if you are planning a long visit. The Tower Ramparts Bus Station is a 2-minute walk away and you will find all the local buses stop here for easy access.
The train station is a good 20-25 minute walk away and is on the other side of the river so we would suggest bus is the best option for travelling to Mecca bingo in Ipswich.
Nearby there are a number of eating and drinking establishments as well as an array of retail outlets. There is a pizza express nearby and the Sailmakers Shopping Centre has all manner of shops to explore.
If you prefer to stay in Mecca for the whole of your visit then you find it well equipped with a bar and diner serving good tasty food and refreshing drinks as well as arcade machines, slots and all the 90 ball bingo you could ask for.
There are numerous special offers and promotions at Mecca Ipswich and you will find these on the Facebook site. The club is popular with the locals and gets busy at peak times making for an excellent atmosphere.
Opening Times
Mecca Bingo Ipswich is open 11am-12am Monday and Thursday, 10am-12am Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and 1.30pm to 12am on Sunday.
Session times vary with morning sessions starting at 11am or 11.30pm, afternoon session starting at 12.30pm and evening bingo starting at 6.30pm for the early game.
Prices
Mecca Bingo Ipswich prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other Mecca Bingo halls nationwide. Prices start from just 50p a game and go up to £11 a game for the Sunday evening main session.
There are even free games on Saturday morning at 10.30am, Monday afternoon at 1pm and 2pm and Monday evening at 7pm for the main game. You will also find plenty of value on the e-bingo if you fancy taking part in the Mecca Max.
