About

Gala Doncaster is set on a large retail park a couple of miles North East of the historic town centre. Being located out of town comes with the advantage of being housed in a purpose-built unit along with plenty of parking being available, it also means you can avoid the traffic from the town centre and racecourse.

The club is situated on Wheatley Hall Retail Park and is home to a number of large retail outlets including TK Maxx, Marks and Spencer, Office Outlet, Sports Direct and many more besides. If you win really big you might even fancy a trip to the local BMW garage which is a 2-minute walk away.

The club is very easy to find and sits just off the A630 which runs parallel to the River Don. For those taking public transport, you will find local buses running to the Neale Road bus stop which is less than 50 metres from the club.

Inside, the bingo hall is very well equipped and has all the mod cons you need to have an enjoyable evening out. The seating is comfortable and there is usually plenty of space for everyone without there being a need to book (with the exception of special events). There is a bar area and good food being served daily from the diner and the prices are pretty tempting too.

If you fancy even more entertainment or have grown tired of the bingo then you might fancy your chances in the arcade area which has all the latest games and slot machines for you to spend your time and money in.

Anyone requiring disabled access will have no problems here as the club has been built with this in mind and access is fully wheelchair friendly.

Opening Times

Gala Doncaster has the edge over its local Mecca Doncaster rival when it comes to opening hours as it is open until 12am 7 days of the week. Opening times are 11am Monday to Saturday and 12pm Sunday.

There are morning, afternoon and evening sessions being played daily with the exception of Sunday when the morning session is omitted from the card.

Prices

The price of bingo starts from just £2 with that session taking place on Tuesday evenings. Tuesday afternoon is also very low priced at just £3. Most sessions cost in the region of £4 to £6 with the priciest game taking place on Friday evening at a cost of £8 – this still represents excellent value for money.

Free Bingo

Thursday is free bingo day at Gala Doncaster and both afternoon and evening sessions are free to play. You can play 11 pages of bingo for free from 7.30pm. The first chance games are also free with the last chance game costing just £1. The link game has a whopping £5000 prize fund so it is worth a go just for that.
