About

One of several Greater Manchester bingo halls, Mecca Sale is right in the centre of the town and takes residence in an old hall. The building looks stunning from the outside in its brilliant white and blue and it is equally as impressive on the inside, albeit a little more modern looking.

Some of the old features inside are preserved and the club has a unique atmosphere and a feeling of class which is often not the case in many other halls up and down the country.

Located on the A56 on Washway Road the club has a small car park to the front with space for around 20 cars as well as some spaces that are reserved for disabled visitors. The facilities here are top class and you will find ample seating in comfortable seats with spacious tables, an arcade area, a smoking shelter, hearing loop and disabled facilities. There is also the option to play electronic bingo in the form of Mecca Max if you so wish. You will also find a well-stocked bar and a diner serving tasty snacks, meals and puddings every day.

The local area of Sale is quite affluent and you will find an array of retail stores just a short walk away although Mecca Sale tends to be found in the fast food restaurant part of town – so if you fancy a quick Subway or some grilled chicken you won’t have far to walk at all.

If you prefer to catch the bus to the club then this is a good option and the bus stop on the corner of Broadoaks Road is the one to look for with bus routes 18, 41, 245 and Sapphire 263 all stopping here.

At the time of writing, there were promotions running that meant if you refer a friend you both had the chance to win £5,000! There is often smaller money off discounts too.

Opening Hours

Mecca Bingo Sale is open from 11am on Saturday, 11:30am the rest of the week.

Saturday is the the only day where you can play morning bingo sessions and they start at 10am. During the rest of the week, the action kicks off at 12pm.

Prices

Sessions start from as little as £2 each. The £2 prices can usually be found at 6.20pm every evening. The Saturday morning games are also relatively cheap, costing £2.50 – £5. Afternoon sessions are £5 each Sunday to Friday with a £15 session taking place at 1 pm on Saturday. The evening mains at 7pm are more expensive, ranging from £15-£20.

There is also the chance to play Mecca Max, which is the e-bingo version of the game and packages are available to purchase for this – ask at the desk for details.
